Hi Rusty. While googling Scot Sasser, an article written by you was found. You mentioned a scathing article about Sasser but when "this article" was hit on your blog, a different spelling of the name appeared in the article. It was Scott Sassa..any ideas? timeconverse.com was also mentioned in your writing and that was tried next. It would not come up. Please email with your thoghts. Would like to read scathing article if it is Scot Sasser and not Scott Sassa. Thanks

The fact this machine replaced your Thinkpad makes me want to dump my (noisy) Thinkpad too. I hope you don't mind a couple of questions.

You say the solid state is quiet. I figured that much. But there's a difference between "almost no noise" and silent. I assume it has a fan to cool the chip. I think I read another review saying the touchpad gets hot--probably the chip is under the touchpad? Overall is the Mini considerably more quiet than your old Thinkpad?

My other question: Do you know the maximum resolution on the external VGA? I know (from another blog review) it's at least 1280x1024.

Facebook's response: "Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya." It's kind of like sex - it's not for everyone.

Cranky cranky. Actually, I find there's a local&realtime vs. global divide w.r.t triviality on Twitter. if someone far away from me and famous says that they're having a nice croissant, I'm not very interested. But if one of my co-workers says that they're having fabulous coffee right now at the Creamery, I'm like 1) hmm, X is at the Creamery, 2) maybe the Creamery doesn't suck as hard as I thought, 3) maybe I'll drop by on my way to work. This doesn't have to happen too many times before the croissant seems more forgivable. It would be nice to have a way to filter out long-distance local-interest tweets though....

Since you brought it up, my pet peeve is when people think that other people owe them entertainment via Twitter. If somebody's bugging you, there's a very easy remedy -- unfollow!

Hi Joyce:) I'm a huge fan of yours. I had just written a blog post about you. Hope you won't mind ;) I think you're a very good role model & would like to share the inspiring story of your enthusiasm and passion in the IT field. I would have written to get your permission beforehand if I had your e-mail address.
